Themes in to Kill a Mocking Bird.

One Major theme in To Kill a Mocking Bird is how racist some people are in Maycomb. The way the other reveals this theme is For Example, Atticus says in the book it is wrong to kill a mockingbird because all they do is sing beautiful songs and never harm anyone. What he means by that is you shouldn't kill a black person if they haven't done anything wrong.
Another Major theme is when Atticus tells Scout and Jem that we never really know a man until we stand in his shoes and walk around in them. What he means by that is you don't really know who somebody is till you meet them.
